Terms of Service

1. The service

Embedfinder ("the service") reads public web pages you point it to and returns the metadata they expose: title, description, poster, genres and the addresses of the video players those pages reference. The service does not host, copy, store or redistribute any video. The result is delivered to you and only you.

2. Your responsibility

You decide which pages to process and what to do with the result. You are solely responsible for having the right to use that content, for complying with the terms of the sites you extract from, and for the laws that apply to you and to your own sites. The service is a neutral tool: it does not choose, rank, review or endorse the sites or the content you process, and it treats every public page the same way. Each user makes their own decisions and is responsible for them.

Illegal content, content involving minors, or content you have no right to reproduce is strictly prohibited. We suspend accounts that process it, without refund.

3. Plans, quotas and payment

Each plan has a monthly quota of extractions (one extraction = one entry). Paid plans renew monthly until you cancel. You choose the payment method: card or PayPal in US dollars through Lemon Squeezy (our reseller and merchant of record, which issues the invoice and handles sales tax), or Mercado Pago in Argentine pesos. Both give the same plan and the same access; we do not favour one over the other. Cancel from your account or from the provider; cancelling stops the next renewal and the plan stays active until the paid period ends. We do not refund the current period. Prices may change with 30 days' notice; a change never applies to a period you already paid.

We may limit requests per minute and suspend accounts that abuse the service, share API keys, or attempt to circumvent quotas.

4. Availability and warranty

The service is provided as is. Third-party sites change without notice and an extraction may fail or return partial data; the quota consumed by a failed extraction is not refunded. We do not guarantee uptime, nor that any given site will keep working.

5. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid in the previous three months. We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or claims from third parties about content you processed.

6. Termination

You can close your account at any time by contacting us. We may terminate accounts that breach these terms. On termination, your data is deleted within 30 days.
